"I had been studying Human Design for over ten years when a pivotal moment occurred. While attending my first Human Design conference, I had an enlightening conversation with a podcaster, now a friend, who regularly collaborates with Dr. Eleanor Haspel-Portner. Through this discussion, I discovered how her approach to Human Design presents an expanded perspective beyond traditional Human Design, which immediately compelled me to seek out Dr. Haspel-Portner for a session With my background in psychology and counseling, and a career in higher education focused on empowering young adults, I've always been drawn to systems supporting human development. My reading with Dr. Eleanor revealed the impressive breadth of her Design blue print approach. Her multi-decade experience as a clinical psychologist has equipped her with a remarkable ability to encourage and uplift others. I felt truly seen in a way that empowered me to embrace my awareness and future potential. Dr. Eleanor masterfully integrates her doctoral work in comparative sciences (biology, psychology, sociology, and anthropology) with esoteric sciences, enabling clients to comprehend their full potential. During our session, she identified through my astrological transits that writing a book would be a successful endeavor for me. When she asked if I'd considered this path, I shared that I had a raw manuscript but hadn't moved forward with it. Her insights helped me recognize the value in committing to this project, which I'm now developing. In fall 2024, I joined Dr. Eleanor's course that teaches how to conduct Noble Energy Map readings. Though I typically don't enjoy live online courses, her knowledge, encouraging approach to questions and availability to students has made the experience exceptional. We alternate weeks between theory and application in our lives. While traditional Human Design is framed as integrating the Chinese I-Ching, Chakra system, astrology, Kabbalah, and quantum physics, the astrological and Kabbalistic aspects are unexplained. Dr. Eleanor's Noble Energy system brilliantly illustrates how there are eight energy maps "body graphs" based on eight astrological timeframes that correspond to four time frames before birth and four after birth rather than just one. These eight placements represent the energetic imprints that influence an infant before they are born and three months after - the foundation for a being's initial blueprint. Exploring my eight charts, rather than the single chart from traditional Human Design, revealed a more robust and comprehensive energetic blueprint that resonates deeply with my lived experience. This framework continues to illuminate my potential for expanded awareness and development. Dr. Eleanor clearly demonstrates how astrology integrates with energetic blueprints and teaches the Tree of Life from Kabbalah, showing how the 32 paths of intelligence are incorporated into the eight NEM charts to illuminate the journey toward self-actualization. Moreover, she reveals how the traditional Human Design chart represents just the first aspect of a multidimensional tapestry. Her doctoral research exploring the intersectionality of anthropology, sociology, biology, and psychology enabled her discovery of the Four Worlds that correspond to our multidimensional human experience. I'm profoundly grateful for Dr. Eleanor and her discoveries about the expanded potential of energy blueprints to support human growth and enlightenment. She has inspired and empowered me to set goals and intentions that are helping me manifest desires that align with my spiritual values. I feel my knowledge and embodiment would be incomplete without her expanded teaching about how I can live in alignment with my energetic blueprint, and overcome the challenges that inhibit my self-actualization process for the benefit of myself and others."
